Customer CRM

Your real asset isn't in the kitchen. It's out on the floor.

Every guest who books, returns or comes to an evening leaves something behind: preferences, anniversaries, the table they love, how much they spend. Restomatix gathers it into a customer profile that fills itself in, and that stays yours, not a portal's.

The definition

What is a CRM for restaurants?

A restaurant CRM is the system that collects and organises customer data, contacts, visits, preferences, allergies, spend, anniversaries, turning it into relationships: recognising the regular, inviting the right person to the right event, bringing back those who have been away too long. In Restomatix the CRM is built into bookings: you don't fill it in, it feeds itself with every service.

The difference from a generic CRM is all here: no form to fill in, no extra system to keep up to date. The work the floor already does, taking bookings, welcoming, serving, becomes useful data without a single extra step.

And the difference from the portals is even simpler: there, the customer who books with you sits in their database, and they sell them back to you as advertising. Here they are in yours, for good.

How it works

A CRM that builds itself, service after service

The customer profile, automatic

The profile is created at the first booking: name, contacts, how they found you. It enriches itself with every visit: how many times they have come, when, how many they were, at which table. The floor adds what really matters in one tap: allergies, the favourite wine, "always asks for table 12", the birthday.

Recognising who walks in (and who is missing)

When a booking comes in, the profile is already there: you know whether it's their first time or their twentieth, what must not reach the table, what will make them feel at home. And the database shows you the other side too: the regulars you haven't seen for months, the customers easiest to win back, if you know they exist.

Segments ready for campaigns and events

The value of the CRM takes off when you use it: the wine lovers to invite to the vertical tasting, the families for Sunday lunch, those who came for Valentine's Day for the next Valentine's Day. The segments feed the email and SMS campaigns in the Promote module and the invitations in the events portal: the right message to the right people, not spam to everyone.

Your data, handled properly

The database is your property: exportable at any time, managed in compliance with the GDPR, with consents collected at booking and tracked. If one day you change system, the data comes with you. It's the clause the portals will never sign for you.

The return

Bringing a customer back costs less than finding a new one

Acquiring a new customer is expensive: visibility, campaigns, the time it takes to be chosen. Bringing back someone who already knows you costs one well-crafted invitation.

The CRM is the lever that shifts revenue from the most expensive channel to the most profitable one: a dining room full of people who have already had a good time with you, and who spend more, because they trust you.

The database at work, in real venues

Frequently asked questions about the customer CRM

Do I have to enter the data by hand?

No: the profile is created and grows with the bookings, online and by phone. The floor only adds the notes that matter, preferences, allergies, anniversaries, in one tap, even during service.

Can the customers I already have on spreadsheets and diaries be imported?

Yes: during setup we import the history for you from spreadsheets, address books or other systems, so the CRM starts full and the first campaigns already have an audience.

Is it GDPR-compliant?

Yes: consents collected and tracked at the moment of booking, privacy notices in order, data processed and stored in compliance with the regulation. And ownership of the data is yours: we are the tool, the asset is yours.

What's the difference from the data I have on booking portals?

On the portals the customer belongs to the portal: limited or missing contacts, no export, and your audience used to promote competitors too. In the Restomatix CRM the customer is yours: complete data, exportable, usable for your own campaigns.

Can I see how much a customer is worth?

Yes: the profile keeps the history of visits and bookings, so you recognise regulars and high-value customers at a glance, the ones to look after on the floor and never lose.

Is the CRM useful for a small venue too?

Above all for a small venue: with 40 covers, ten extra regulars a month change the bottom line. And the venue's memory, who they are, what they love, when they came, stops living only in the owner's head.
